Invasive Species Treatment Signup--Phragmites, Japanese Knotweed, HWA

  • Oceana Conservation District 1064 Industrial Park Drive Shelby, MI 49455 (map)

As part of the West Michigan Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area, we have received grant funds to treat Phragmites on properties along the Pentwater River and Pentwater Lake. If you believe you have Phragmites on your property, you will want to attend this Zoom meeting for more information and to sign up for treatments. Treatments will take place late summer of 2022.

For property owners outside of Pentwater, a crew out of the Muskegon Conservation District is available to treat Phragmites, Japanese knotweed, and Hemlock Woolly Adelgid on a contractual basis. You can find out more about this service during the webinar as well. A Zoom link will be shared with those who registered a few days prior to the event.
