Forestry Assistance Program paused
Unfortunately, the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has chosen to not renew the grant that funded our Forestry Assistance Program Forester for 2027 in order to balance budget reductions for the coming year. We will continue to provide resources for landowners with forest and tree health questions, and hope to receive funding to hire a new forester in the coming year.
