Join Rebecca Miller for a family snowshoe hike through the hills of Crystal Valley. We will look for animal tracks and talk about winter habitat as we tromp around the woods on snowshoes.

If you haven’t tried snowshoeing, it is as easy as walking. Snowshoes on deep snow help us walk about anywhere an animal can. This fun winter activity could be the beginning of a new family tradition, or even spark the interest of a young woodland explorer.

Snowshoes are available to use, or bring your own. Trekking poles or ski poles may be helpful for those with poorer balance. Meet at the trailhead of the Crystal Valley Ski Trail at 1:00. This activity will last about 2 hours.
