This is our fourth event in a series of birding field trips to celebrate the publication of our Birding Guide to Oceana County, Michigan. Each field trip will provide an opportunity to visit the local "hot spots" that were identified in our book.

This trip will focus on shorebirds which start migrating south mid to late August. We will visit sites along the lakeshore as well as the Hart BioPure Facility (wastewater treatment plant).
