Nature Ranger Day Camp

  • Gales Pond County Park 49 E Filmore Rd Hart, MI, 49420 United States (map)

Summer is the time for new experiences and outdoor adventures! This summer we are offering a weekly half day camp of nature discovery and exploration for children ages 5-10 years old. Children will be taking a closer look at Oceana County’s forests, wetlands, and wildlife through outdoor exploration, games, science experiments, art projects, journaling, and nature hikes. We hope you will join us in exploring the woody, wet, wiggly and warty creatures of Oceana County!

Each week will have a different theme with fun activities and hands-on skills. Though there will be some activities that extend throughout the 9 weeks, you can choose to come to as many sessions as you desire. For those choosing to attend all sessions, an optional overnight family camping trip is planned. This overnight stay will highlight all we learned throughout our summer of fun! Each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for this special event.

When: Every Monday in July and August; 9am - 12pm
Where: Gales Pond County Park
Program Fee: $15 per day or $100 for the 9-week series
