This event will kick off a year long series of birding field trips to celebrate the publication of our Birding Guide to Oceana County, Michigan. Each field trip will provide an opportunity to visit the local "hot spots" that were identified in our book.

This first field trip will focus on migrating waterfowl, loons, grebes and gulls along the lakeshore. We will meet at Charles Mears State Park. Bring your own binoculars if you have them or you can plan to use one of our pairs.
