Oceana Conservation District is partnering with Oceana County Farm Bureau to highlight three agricultural producers in Oceana County. First, participants will see the maple syrup operation at Kasza's Sugar Bush and learn about forestry assistance programs that are available to landowners. At Herrygers Farm, we'll see proper agri-chemical and fuel storage, discuss deer management, and discuss ways to attract pollinators. Our final stop will be at Snider Farms, 2016 Conservationist of the Year award recipient, where we will get a tour of their state-of-the-art facilities and hear about what conservation practices they are implementing. The tour will conclude with a complimentary picnic supper.

Come out and see what local agricultural producers are doing to implement practices that protect our natural resources and work toward sustainable agriculture.

Bus will be leaving no later than 5:40 p.m. therefore please plan to meet at Snider Farms, located at 2530 W Filmore Road in Hart, promptly at 5:30.
